The new location will join the company’s established Indian network of premium airport services in New Delhi and Hyderabad, bringing the grand total of operations from 10 to 13 in India.
BANGALORE- Plaza Premium Lounge announced its opening at the Bengaluru International Airport, by the end of 2013. The company will open two pay-in-lounges and one day hotel at the airport.
The new lounges, designed by Australian designer Mitchel Squires,comprises views with glass ceiling, lush greenery coupled with timber interiors. The two properties are located in the airside, one in International departures and the other in domestic departures, both sprawling over 8,900 sq ft and 8,000 sq ft respectively. The lounges will have food and beverage, comfortable seating, shower for guests to freshen up, business centre and a spa and massage parlour for guests to relax.
The Plaza Premium Lounge Day Hotel will be Bangalore’s first ever day hotel at the airport. The 6,100 sq ft property will be located in landside, providing travellers a place to relax and refresh while at the airport. The rooms will have fitted showers, beds, Wi-Fi, TV and intercom to provide a comfortable stay for people on the go.
