PKFARE.com’s ambition for international growth gets a boost from Amadeus technology

China-based travel aggregator chooses Amadeus’ leading search technology, content and virtual wallet solution to power international expansion.

BANGKOK, Thailand – PKFARE.com, a China-based travel aggregator, has signed a partnership with Amadeus to accelerate their expansion into the international market. The company joins a wave of Chinese travel players looking to make their mark on the global stage.

Under the multi-year agreement with PKFARE.com, Amadeus will deliver its extensive range of flight content through its Master Pricer solution – the most powerful air search solution on the market used by leading global online travel agents – for points of sale outside of Mainland China. Amadeus Master Pricer returns the cheapest bookable fares and most convenient itineraries in less than a second, resulting in more bookings and better conversion rates. Amadeus will also provide hotel content through Amadeus Hotel Web Services.

Jason Song, CEO and Founder of PKFARE.com, said “This partnership with Amadeus is a critical milestone in our growth. We’ve grown very quickly in China but recognise that to take our business to the next level we need to become a global player. As a B2B travel aggregator it is important that we deliver the best hotel and air content available to our customers. Our agreement with Amadeus ensures we will do that via the best search technology available, positioning us well to compete on the international stage.”

PKFARE.com will also implement the Amadeus B2B Wallet Prepaid solution for automated, quick and easy payments to its overseas suppliers. The virtual card not only reduces fraud risk, but improve sales reconciliation.

Albert Pozo, President, Amadeus Asia Pacific, commented, “We are very proud to be part of PKFARE.com Technology’s growth story as they step out on to the global stage. We invest more than ¥13 million in research and development every day, and that’s why we are confident we offer our partners the best search technology and the most expansive content available. This is an exciting partnership, and a testament to our continued commitment to powering Chinese travel companies’ global expansion.”
