PATAcademy-HCD is ready with a new programme on Creativity and Innovation Competency for Your Team’s Success

Under the theme, "Human Capital Development – This Decade's Tourism Challenge", the programme is designed for rising stars in the travel industry that want to broaden their practical experience, engage with leading speakers, and learn from their peers.

BANGKOK – The 4th PATAcademy-HCD is ready to commence in less than two weeks with a new programme on the “Development of Creativity and Innovation Competency for Your Team’s Success.” The programme will be held on June 2-4, 2015 at the PATA Engagement Hub in PATA Headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand. Registration for the event is still available, with limited seats remaining.
 
Mr Stuart ‘Stu’ Lloyd, Chief Hothead and Business Creativity Consultant, Hotheads, China, will lead an interactive session to demonstrate to participants why creativity is the most required leadership skill in the New Economy and how to develop innovation competency in a team. Participants will learn four core creative competencies and five innovation discovery skills with case studies from Southwest Airlines, JetBlue, AirAsia, Marriott, AirBnb, NY Tourism, and more.

Under the theme, “Human Capital Development – This Decade’s Tourism Challenge“, the programme is designed for rising stars in the travel industry that want to broaden their practical experience, engage with leading speakers, and learn from their peers.
 
Participants will gain insightful updates, experience dynamic discussions, and learn and apply techniques into practice. They will also have the opportunity learn from case studies provided by international human capital development (HCD) experts including:

 – Veera Pardpattanapanich, Rector, Dusit Thani College, Thailand
 – Claude Colombie, Director, Sala Bai, Cambodia
 
In addition to the presentations and activities in the PATA Engagement Hub, participants will also visit Bangkok University’s Tourism Tower, School of Humanities and Tourism Management. The school is equipped with a state-of-the-art facility that provides it students the opportunity to work in a real world setting, offering training opportunities in its hotel simulated laboratories (standard rooms, suites, restaurants, coffee shops, and kitchens).
 
PATAcademy-HCD allows both PATA member and non-member participants to build their knowledge and business through the educational programme, the interactive sessions, case studies, networking, ideas exchange, and group collaboration.
 
After successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded with a PATAcademy-HCD certificate entitled: “Certified Asia Pacific Visitor Economy Expert – Human Capital Development“.
