Ovation Global DMC launches strategic partner programme

Ovation Global DMC announced a Strategic Partner Programme to provide DMC services for its corporate, association and agency clients at locations where it currently doesn’t have a wholly owned office. Strategic Partners, typically, will be the leading DMC in a destination and are selected by Ovation according to strict criteria including industry reputation and legacy, operational excellence and efficiencies and ability to deliver a truly insightful DMC service beyond mere logistics and tactical delivery.

To date exclusive Strategic Partners have been selected for the following destinations – Greece, Hungary, Malta, Morocco, Poland and Turkey. Discussions are in progress to appoint Strategic Partners for Australia, the Baltic States, Costa Rica, Croatia, Finland and Portugal. In 2008 Ovation established a strategic alliance with The DMC Network, a consortium of DMCs providing services at 36 locations across the US and Canada. This brings the total number of Ovation destinations to 60 including 18 wholly owned offices.

Commenting on the launch of the Strategic Partner Programme, Managing Director, Patrick Delaney said: “To be truly global and to offer a truly global service to our clients, Ovation needs to be in 100 locations around the world. We will achieve this by a combination of start-ups, acquisitions and expansion of our strategic partner programme.” Padraic Gilligan, joint Managing Director, added “We are proud of the pace and speed of our growth but particularly proud of the calibre of DMC that we have attracted. Our Strategic Partners are the best DMCs in their destination and provide 100% assurance to our clients that the seamless service delivered by our wholly owned offices will be replicated by our partners”.
