ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, Singapore, awarded Best Asian Marina 2016

SINGAPORE – ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, Singapore, was awarded the prestigious Best Asian Marina 2016 at the 12th edition of the Asia Boating Awards held at the ONE°15 Marina Club Ballroom in Singapore, on the opening night of the Singapore Yacht Show (April 7-10).

 

Snagging the top prize in this category for the fifth time (past winner in 2009, 2012, 2013 and 2014), the ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, Singapore, competed with five other marinas in the category to be named Best Asian Marina – an award that recognises Asian-based marinas that have demonstrated a high standard of technical excellence and service for boat owners, and overall marina operations and facilities management.

 

Since its opening in September 2007, ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, Singapore, has become the proud recipient of a series of notable awards, a testament to our quality of development, management and operations of the marina club. Some of the awards received include the FIVE Gold Anchor Award, conferred by The Yacht Harbour Association for providing facilities which adhere to the highest of international standards. Also in 2007, the Club received the ISO14001 certification, making ONE°15 the first and only marina in this region to have achieved this prestigious internationally recognised certification for Environmental Management.

 

Recognising the Club’s continual efforts towards being Asia’s Finest Marina and Leisure hub, ONE°15 is also the proud recipient of “Best Asian Marina of the Year” in 2009, 2012, 2013 and 2014 in the Annual Asia Boating Awards created by the Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines. The ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, Singapore, was award “Green Maritime Company of the Year 2015 at the 11th Asia Boating Awards.

 

Mr. Jack Long, Group General Manager, SUTL Group of Companies and Mr. Brian Werner, General Manager, ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, Singapore, received the award on behalf of ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, Singapore, last night. Mr. Brian Werner said, “It is a great honour to be awarded ‘Best Asian Marina’ for the fifth time. This accreditation is a testament to our position as Singapore’s crown jewel within the yachting industry. Our plans to grow and develop this position even further will showcase our leadership in the industry, which will allow us to realise the vision of Founder and Chairman, Mr. Arthur Tay.”
