Novotel expands in Malaysia

Accor Hotels upper-middle scale brand is continuing its expansion throughout Asia, with Novotel Borneo Kota Kinabalu scheduled to open its doors on October 8, 2008. Novotel Borneo Kota Kinabalu is within 18 minutes of the Kota Kinabalu International Airport and is located right in the heart of the city. An integral part of the 1Borneo Hyper mall, which has a selection of over 300 shopping, dining and leisure choices, it is also adjacent to the University Malaysia Sabah with close proximity to the State and Federal Administration offices as well as the many tourist attractions in and around Kota Kinabalu.

The hotel boasts 263 modern guestrooms and suites which are all designed with comfort in mind. All guestrooms are furnished with LCD TVs with satellite channels including a wide range of international and local channels of box office movies, sports and news channels. Other in room facilities include broadband internet access, in-room safe, mini bar, complimentary coffee and tea making facilities and a dedicated and flexible workspace.

Novotel Borneo also boasts an impressive food and beverage selection, with first-class cuisine at the hotel’s 4 food and beverage outlets. Bonjour Cafe, located at the lobby level is trendy and chic in design, serving non-alcoholic beverages and light snacks. The Lobby Lounge and Bar, serving light snacks and cocktails, is located on level 1 and open from 9.00am till 11.00pm daily. The Square Restaurant, on level 5 is an all day dining restaurant offering an interactive dining experience. With an open kitchen concept, it is prepared right in front of you accommodating the preferences of diners. Le Mo Passan restaurant, located on the roof top serves French European cuisine with a touch of Asian influence and is an ideal place to enjoy the beautiful scenery the city has to offer.
