Top travel and lifestyle PR agency Rooster has been appointed by leading ski rental accommodation listing website skipad.co.uk to handle its PR remit in the UK.
Launched in October 2010 by founders Gary Hector and Matthew Pyke, skipad.co.uk provides the perfect place for skiers and snowboarders to search for apartment or chalet accommodation all over Europe and rent direct from the owner. Skiers have the option to book an entire apartment or chalet, or individual chalet rooms, providing a wide range of choice. Special late availability offers are updated daily.
Speaking on the idea behind the launch, Hector explains: “I bought a small ski apartment a while ago and wanted to advertise it online. However, I discovered there weren’t many sensibly priced, ski specific rental listings websites that offered more than just chalets. Our site skipad.co.uk fills a gap in the market. Also, having a sliding scale pricing structure for owner, depending on the type of property, is a big selling point.”
Pyke adds: “I want to see Ski Pad as a recognised community, bringing together people wanting to find a ski property with owners who want to advertise, and for them all also to exchange views and find solutions to renting a ski property.
“The website has a strong brand and is very interactive. Having analysed the market, we believe that what sets us apart is our passion and being in a position to respond immediately to what people want,” Pyke remarks.
