New away resort in Kanchanaburi, Thailand for BHMAsia

The Away Kanchanaburi Dheva Mantra Resort & Spa is located on a secluded stretch of the famous River Kwai.

BANGKOK – Dheva Mantra Resort & Spa has appointed Bespoke Hospitality Management Asia (BHMAsia) to manage its well-known luxury resort under the popular Away Resorts brand, with operations set to commence in Q1 2018. Accordingly, BHMAsia this week announced the signing of the agreement with Dheva Mantra Company Limited to carry out the rebranding and management of the Away Kanchanaburi Dheva Mantra Resort & Spa.

The Away Kanchanaburi Dheva Mantra Resort & Spa is located on a secluded stretch of the famous River Kwai and offers breathtaking panoramic scenery. The resort boasts 104 spacious colonial inspired guest rooms, 3 restaurants and a bar, including one floating Thai Restaurant on the river, a swimming pool, gym and spa, and extensive meeting facilities making the property an excellent choice for leisure travelers and an outstanding venue for bespoke meetings and events.

BHMAsia Executive Vice President Alexander Wallace explains why the decision fits perfectly with the objectives of his organization. “Our Away brand has proved popular and successful in our resort properties already established in Thailand, and the Away Kanchanaburi Dheva Mantra Resort & Spa fits naturally into that portfolio,” he stated. “Kanchanaburi is a fast-growing destination with significant potential and the Away Kanchanaburi Dheva Mantra Resort & Spa will give BHM Asia the chance to serve this increasing number of visitors. While our overseas portfolio continues to expand, we still see Thailand as our primary focus.

The addition of the Away Kanchanaburi Dheva Mantra Resort & Spa represents the fourth Thai property under the Away brand, following Away Koh Kood Resort, Away Chiang Mai Phucome Villa, and Away Chiang Mai Thapae Resort which opened this month as Thailand’s first and only four-star vegetarian resort.

This latest signing is a clear indication of the brand’s expanding appeal, and the BHMAsia Business Development team is now busy handling the growing interest. A significant number of enquiries have been received and there are several more projects in the Away pipeline to be announced in the near future, both within Thailand and Internationally.
