Navtech, Inc., a leading supplier of flight operations software and services (and an IATA Strategic Partner) announced today an agreement to sell a co-branded version of its acclaimed flight planning solution – Navtech Flight Plan (NFP) – through IATA’s global channels. IATA (International Air Transport Association) will have exclusive rights to sell IATA Flight Plan by Navtech in most world regions, while Navtech will provide customer implementation, product and technical support.

“We’ve created NFP to be the most comprehensive and responsive flight planning tool in the industry. Our customers consistently tell us that our product makes a difference in their operational efficiency and saves costs,” said Mike Hulley, Navtech CEO. “With this new agreement, we will broaden NFP’s market presence, leveraging IATA’s global network and supporting IATA’s goals of advancing flight safety and lowering global CO2 emissions.”

Navtech Flight Plan is renowned for its flexibility. It is a single flight operations solution compatible with platforms ranging from notebook computers to distributed client/server installations, and can be tailored to the specific operational requirements of virtually any airline. The multi-dimensional cost optimizing models produce flight plans that enable crews to operate their aircraft in the most efficient manner-reducing costs, reducing CO2 emissions, and increasing flight safety. NFP customers value not only the system’s fit into their operational style, but also its ease-of-use and the improved productivity and efficiency it delivers.
