Myanmar National Airlines partners with Discover the World

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Myanmar National Airlines, a full service airline that offers the warm traditional hospitality of the Myanmar people, has partnered for the first time with Discover the World to handle its sales and marketing in Singapore.
 

“Singapore is the first destination where we plan to expand, given our new B-737-800 aircraft,” said Than Tun, CEO of Myanmar National Airlines. “Since we will have seven weekly flights between Singapore and Yangon that began Oct. 25, we needed to partner with a firm that had vast experience in the marketplace and a professional team possessing a strong, established trade network to help us increase our brand awareness. Discover fit that bill.“

According to Jenny Adams, CEO of Discover the World, “With its extensive domestic network across 26 cities in Myanmar, we are confident our sales team in Singapore will produce great results for Myanmar National Airlines, selling point to point as well as connecting flights. We will also promote the airline’s Mingalabar service, cost free for business class passengers that provides a “meet and greet” at the gate by a Mingalabar host, fast track through immigration and a transfer to a Yangon hotel. We hope this will be the first of many opportunities to work with Myanmar National Airlines as they expand their operations.“
