Meritus Hotels & Resorts wins Travel Weekly Asia Readers’ Choice Award 2016

Meritus Hotels & Resorts counts in its portfolio the iconic Mandarin Orchard Singapore, Marina Mandarin Singapore, and Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa, Langkawi.

SINGAPORE – Asian hospitality brand Meritus Hotels & Resorts was voted Best Regional Hotel Chain by readers of Travel Weekly Asia and Travel Weekly China for the Travel Weekly Asia Readers’ Choice Awards 2016.
 
The awards ceremony, held at Mandarin Orchard Singapore’s two-star Michelin restaurant, Shisen Hanten by Chen Kentaro, was attended by close to 100 international travel trade leaders and influencers.
  
45 winners were recognised across 12 categories, namely, Airline, Hotel, Resort, Serviced Residence, Airport, Car Rental, Cruise, Travel Agency, GDS, Travel Insurance, Attraction and Destination.
 
Now in its second year, Travel Weekly Asia Readers’ Choice Awards celebrates the “best of the best” travel trade companies and professionals who raise the bar higher for the industry with their exceptional products and services.
 
Receiving this year’s Best Regional Hotel Chain award for Meritus Hotels & Resorts was Chief Operating Officer, Mr Tan Kim Seng.
 
“We at Meritus are always finding new ways to deliver the very best of Asian hospitality to all our guests,” said Mr Tan. “This award is an important testament to the impact our brand is making in an industry so dynamic and competitive, and we are deeply grateful to our peers and partners for recognising our efforts.”
