Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre appointments

New appointments for Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre to head Human Resources and TenOnCall Sales.

KUALA LUMPUR– The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre has announced the appointment of Mr Naresh Kumar as Human Resources Manager and Ms Cherrie Lee as TenOnCall Sales Manager.

With more than 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry where his focus has always been in people development and talent management, Mr Kumar will be responsible for the implementation of the Centre’s HR function in particular Training & Development and Employee Relations.

Mr Kumar is a Marketing graduate from the Royal Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM, UK).

As TenOnCall Sales Manager, Ms Lee will be responsible for maximising venue occupancy, revenue and yield for the Centre’s TenOnCall which comprises 10 dedicated meeting spaces.  

With close to 17 years in Sales and Marketing in the hospitality industry, Ms Lee will implement and maintain an effective sales plan to promote TenOnCall and the Centre’s other facilities and services to achieve a profitable business mix for the Centre’s Meetings and Events segment.

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is a component of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) and is managed and operated by Convex Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a joint-venture company between KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd and AEG Ogden Pty Ltd, Australia.
