Jin Jiang International Hotels to open Yin Run Jin Jiang Resort Anji in Zhejiang Province, China

SHANGHAI – Jin Jiang International Hotels officially announced the opening of its newest property, Yin Run Jin Jiang Resort Anji, located in Anji county in northwestern Zhejiang province, eastern China. The hotel is scheduled to open at the end of Q4, 2014. The hotel will be Jin Jiang’s first theme park hotel and is part of and situated opposite the new Hello Kitty-themed amusement park. Both properties belong to the same owners and the theme park is also due to open at the end of Q4.
 

Illustration of Yin Run Jin Jiang Resort Anji Anji, also known as the Bamboo Town of China, has been seeing a rapid and positive year on year tourism growth particularly within the eco-tourism sector. The county is renowned for its sprawling, rich bamboo forests and natural scenic greenery, serving as an idyllic and relaxing destination for travelers.
 

Anji is situated only 65km, an hour ride away, from Hangzhou and 230km, a two-hour drive, from Shanghai. The hotel is located 500 meters from the major S14 Hangzhou to Changsha highway and is within convenient access to the county’s various popular scenic tourist destinations including the infamous Big Bamboo Sea, Zhejiang North Canyon, Hidden Dragon Falls.
 

Set amidst luscious forestation and a picturesque mountainous backdrop, this luxury five star hotel is sprawled over 26,000 square meters of land and the building itself covers an area of 46,000 square meters. The hotel’s exterior resembles a grandiose classic European castle and has a man-made river surrounding the main entrance. The interior of the hotel is elegant and luxurious and features 343 spacious guestrooms and suites each equipped with modern high end amenities.

In lieu of the neighboring theme park, there will be 43 Hello Kitty-themed guestrooms and suites of which each room will feature designs of this iconic character; from the bedding and slippers to the mouthwash packaging. In addition, guests staying in these themed rooms will get to check in at an exclusive reception counter specifically for those staying in the Hello Kitty rooms. The hotel has a large 670 square meter, column free, multi-functional banquet hall which can hold up to 350 people and is designed to cater to various event needs. The hotel has a selection of gourmet Chinese and Western restaurants and will feature 8 European style private dining rooms. Additional facilities will include a fully equipped business center, a state-of-the-art modern fitness center and an indoor swimming pool.
