ISIC partners with Contiki Holidays

Contiki Holidays has teamed up with the International Student Identity Card (ISIC) to give students worldwide an exclusive discount on their adventure holidays. Between now and March 2010, ISIC cardholders can take advantage of 10% off Contiki tours across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada, Mexico and Asia.

As the world’s-leading provider of escorted tours for 18-35 year olds in more than 45 countries, Contiki Holidays provides a life-changing experience for young travellers wishing to see the world.

According to Contiki’s November 2009 survey of 18-35 year old travellers, 97% of young Australians believe that travel provides skills that can help with both their professional and personal pursuits. Topping this skills list was gaining a better understanding of different customs and cultures (76%) and a better awareness of world issues (71%)

The partnership with ISIC, the only globally accepted student identity card, will benefit the 4.5 million students worldwide who buy an ISIC each year to take advantage of tens of thousands of exclusive discounts.

Martijn van de Veen, General Manager of ISIC says, “Since ISIC was established in 1956, one of its primary goals has been to help students travel and explore more of the world for less. We are therefore very pleased to be working in partnership with Contiki as part of our student discount programme.”
