Indonesian army forces have intensified their search efforts for the missing aircraft which had crashed down in New Year’s Eve after the decrial for the false statement of the Indonesian government. The government had decided to increase the forces of the rescue teams with thousands soldiers and six helicopters as an effort to show decisiveness to track the debris of the aircraft.

Senior government officials were forced to apologize for the false statement that the debris of the Boeing 737-400 owned and operated by Adam Air had been tracked down along with 12 survivors.

According to the US embassy in Jakarta, in the airplane there were three Americans who were the only non Indonesian passengers of the Surabaya to Mananto flight.

Almost 3000 soldiers, policemen and civilians are taking part to the search without finding anything yet.

The problem is becoming more complicated as the pilot of the flight didn’t transmit SOS or mentioned technical problems.

“The airplane can’t have disappeared” stated the head of the rescue team after the meeting with passengers` relatives. He stressed “even if it will take us a month we will continue our efforts to find the aircraft.”

The families of the passengers attribute the all situation to inefficiency and negligence of the Indonesian authorities and feel anger for their weakness to trace the lost aircraft.
