IHG opens 4th Holiday Inn Express hotel in Indonesia

Holiday Inn Express Bali Raya Kuta is the fourth Holiday Inn Express hotel to open in Indonesia only 8 months after the brand made its debut in the country.

SINGAPORE – InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened Holiday Inn Express Bali Raya Kuta in Indonesia, the fourth Holiday Inn Express hotel to open in the country since the brand debuted in the country in November 2013. Located in the centre of Kuta, the new hotel is in one of the most vibrant and famous Bali hot spots.
Close to the Balinese coastline, entertainment and business districts, the 168-room Holiday Inn Express Bali Raya Kuta is the ideal choice for smart travellers wanting to be in the centre of the city. Just six kilometres away from Ngurah Rai, Bali International Airport, guests are able to quickly get to and from the hotel. The central business district in Denpasar is a short 10 minute drive away, saving business travellers precious time when commuting into the city for meetings and events.
Bali is one of Indonesia’s most popular beach destinations, hosting over three million tourists a year as well as attracting business travellers in transit from Denpasar and Jakarta or visiting the many conferences and events held here throughout the year. We’re opening the doors of our fourth Holiday Inn Express hotel just eight months after we first introduced the brand to Indonesia. We now have a total of nine Holiday Inn Express hotels across the South East Asia and 16 more due to open in the region over the next five years. We’ve been delighted to see guests from across the region embrace the brand with such enthusiasm,” said Clarence Tan, Chief Operating Officer South East Asia and Resorts, IHG.
The surrounding area of Jalan Raya Kuta is rich in culture and home to some of Bali’s oldest Hindu temples. Well-known attractions such as the Beachwalk shopping mall and Legian Shopping Centre are a short drive away, making it convenient for travellers to efficiently plan out their day of exploring. Guests can also take a refreshing dip in the hotel’s pool or a relaxing walk on the famous Kuta Beach after dining at the many seafood restaurants and trendy cafes along the coastline.
Holiday Inn Express Bali Raya Kuta offers guests a hassle-free and energising stay with:
– Free and fast Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel to stay connected all day, every day
– Free Express Start™ Breakfast  or a Grab & Go option for a smart start to the day
– Swimming pool and a 24-hour fitness room to stay fit and energised
– A comfortable and restful sleep with high quality bedding and a choice of firm or soft pillows
– Refreshing power showers with a three-function massage showerhead and fluffy towels to help travellers refresh after a day exploring the city
Holiday Inn Express Bali Raya Kuta is the ninth Holiday Inn Express hotel to open in South East Asia, and the fourth in Indonesia. The brand first launched in Indonesia in 2013 with Holiday Inn Express Semarang Simpang Lima, followed by Holiday Inn Express Jakarta Thamrin and Holiday Inn Express Bali Kuta Square. The country will be welcoming 11 more Holiday Inn Express hotels over the next five years.
The hotel becomes the fourth IHG hotel in Bali and will be joined by Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa located on the famous Tanjung Benoa Beach in Q4 of this year.
