Ibizan vibes come to Phuket as luxury resort ‘Kata Rocks’ celebrates first anniversary

Lifestyle design company Infinite Luxury celebrates the first anniversary of its flagship resort, Kata Rocks at Phuket’s Kata Beach. To mark the occasion, special guest DJ José Padilla, famed for his residency at the iconic Café del Mar in Ibiza, will play a live set of Balearic beats poolside this November.
 

Located directly on the ocean front at the southern tip of Kata Beach, the Kata Rocks anniversary party on Saturday November 28th is set to be ‘the’ Phuket party of the season. The grand celebration is open to resort guests as well as non-Kata Rocks residents with tickets available in advance from Kata Rocks. On the night, free-flow champagne and cocktails as well as tasty light bites will be served by the pool. DJ Padilla will play out to a finale of fireworks to mark Kata Rocks’ first successful year as a leading luxury resort in Phuket.
 

Alongside the party, Kata Rocks has worked with DJ Padilla to launch an exclusive CD especially for the Phuket resort. With guests being able to purchase the CD from Kata Rocks directly, a take-home of the funky and chilled sea-side vibe post trip.
 

Guests to Kata Rocks can enjoy one, two, three and four-bedroom Sky Villas, each with private infinity pools overlooking the Andaman Sea. There is also an oceanfront restaurant, 35-metre swimming pool with poolside bar and a sublime Infinite Luxury spa with seven unique treatment rooms. All guests can experience direct transfers in chauffeur-driven luxury from Phuket International airport.
 

Known for a good night life vibe together with its family-friendly side, Kata Rocks is ideal for large groups due to the privacy of the resort and spacious villas. The first anniversary sees the launch of the Kids Club from the 1st of December 2015, a complimentary service to all guests with children aged 4-15 years. Children and young teens will be supervised and entertained by Kata’s ‘Rock Stars’ – a specially trained team of activity and arts instructors – from 10am to 9pm daily. Kid’s club facilities include play areas for the younger ones, games, books, as well as interactive Thai arts and crafts and Xbox, teen library and movie nights for the older kids.  
 

The resort has aspectacular location on a seaside headland overlooking Kata Beachand the Andaman Sea,a short stroll from the luxurious shops, boutiques, bars and restaurantsof Kata village. Resort guests can walk directly onto the rocky headland – “the rocks” from which the resort takes its name.
