Staff numbers to increase to keep up with demand

iBAHN APAC now installed in over 60 hotels

iBAHN, has completed the installation of over 20,000 rooms for broadband services & IPTV in the APAC region. This marks over 60 hotels installed or under contract in the region, with the majority of business occurring in the last 12 months, predominantly in 5-6 star hotels.

iBAHN’s APAC business unit continues to increase in line with this growth, with 57 staff now employed in the region, reflecting an increase of 613% employees in only 3 years.

iBAHN APAC now has 9 offices in the region located in Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Beijing, Shanghai, Mumbai, Hayana with our relocation to the new Singapore office completed in January. In order to remain the leader in Service & Support for clients, iBAHN also has engineers located in regional areas such as Perth, Goa, Pune and Kuala Lumpur.

The pipeline for both APAC South & North is strong for 2011 requiring additional head count.

“We will be employing additional staff in the sales and operations areas in the coming quarters to keep up the demand we are facing in this growing region,” commented Managing Director of iBAHN’s South Pacific & India, Allan Smith.

“2010 was a successful year for iBAHN the region, especially in North Asia, where we have seen huge growth over the last 12 months that we have operated as a full business unit. 2011 is looking to improve on these numbers, with strong sales numbers in the pipeline and numerous contracts in the marketplace” noted Matt Mitchell, Global Account Manager & MD of iBAHN’s North Asia operations.
