IATA appoints TAL Aviation as a global distributor for airlines sales’ products

In an agreement reached this month between the International Air Transport Association and TAL Aviation, IATA has appointed TAL Aviation as a Global Distributor of IBCS – an IATA product that enhances airlines sales and distribution around the world.

IBCS and BSP are platforms used by most of the commercial airlines operating throughout the world, selling and distributing their seats to travel agencies and eventually to the end consumer.

IATA is an international industry trade group of airlines headquartered in Montreal, Canada.  IATA’s mission is to represent, lead, and serve the airline industry. IATA represents some 230 airlines comprising 93% of scheduled international air traffic.

TAL Aviation is an international organization headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel and with over 20 offices worldwide. The Company acts as General Sales Agents for more than 25 airlines around the world, and provides sales, marketing, PR and distribution solutions to the travel industry.

This new agreement will facilitate the joining of additional airlines, worldwide, to use this distribution system and consequently make more airlines and travel options available to the traveling public.
