The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) continues its International Trade Mission Series with a hosted program that takes place 8-11 March 2011 at the Singapore Expo Convention and Exhibition Centre (Singex).
“The Singapore Expo Convention and Exhibition Centre (Singex) is one of the most modern and efficient exhibition facilities anywhere in the world,” says IAEE President Steven Hacker, CAE. “Singapore remains one of the signature venues for some of the most important exhibitions and trade events in the world. The combination of elements makes this a truly compelling opportunity for many organizers and we are very pleased indeed to be bringing members of IAEE to Singex.”
This program has been custom designed in partnership with IAEE for the organizers of exhibitions and events who currently conduct business in Singapore, or who are seriously considering Singapore as a destination for new exhibitions and events. Singex will provide qualified candidates with the opportunity to tour one of the world’s most extraordinary exhibition facilities and meet with counterparts to explore future business opportunities, as well as:
- Round-trip air transportation from any major gateway city in coach class provided that participants will be offered the option of upgrading at their own expense to business class
- Hotel accommodations for three nights
- All meals
- A city tour
- A tour of Night Safari.
Singex has 30 years of experience in managing venues and oversees more than 600 events annually. Its variety of events in trade and consumer sectors – locally and internationally across a diverse scale – range from meetings, conferences, conventions and exhibitions to banquets, concerts, religious meetings and special events. Singex offers 10 convention and exhibition halls totaling 100,000 sqm of column free, ground level space. The halls offer a variety of configurations for any event from trade or consumer exhibitions, mass conventions (up to 19,000 delegates) to exciting banqueting, gala dinners, concerts, entertainment events and meetings.
Space is strictly limited to ten (10) qualified exhibition organizers.
IAEE’s international trade mission program consists of a coalition of six Asian nations including China, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, Australia and South Korea into its Asia Exhibition Council (AEC). The AEC meets twice each year to exchange vital information and data, and to serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas.
