EZYield.com, the originator of automated online channel management solutions for the worldwide hospitality industry, announced that Portfolio Hotels & Resorts’ newest property, Hotel Abrego, has been added to EZYield.com’s rapidly growing global client roster. Located in Monterey, CA, Hotel Abrego is a newly opened 93-room, full-service boutique hotel that enjoys a central uptown location near the Monterey Convention Center, Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
“The property was previously known as the Sand Dollar Inn, but after extensive renovations including the addition of a new main lodge, more meeting space and 30 new guest rooms, we re-launched the property as Hotel Abrego on June 30th of this year,” stated Michael Payne, VP of operations for the hotel’s management company, Portfolio Hotels & Resorts. “Once we knew the date that we could officially begin receiving bookings, we immediately called EZYield.com to have them set up our customized channel distribution network.”
After successfully using EZYield.com’s technology at several other Portfolio properties for over two years, Payne made the decision to implement EZYield.com at Hotel Abrego because it provides independent properties with the ability to effectively manage rates and inventory over multiple distribution channels. It is also easy to use and reduces time spent managing channels by several hours a week.
