Hong Kong Airlines walk-in cabin crew recruitment day receives overwhelming response from hundreds of applicants

Successful applicants will undergo an 8-week all-round training programme, which includes training in faculties of safety and emergency, cabin services, hospitality, team building, Wing Chun skills and passenger handling skills.

HONG KONG – Hong Kong Airlines walk-in cabin crew recruitment day on 26 September attracted hundreds of applicants queuing up from as early as around 7:00am to register for on-site interviews. Hong Kong Airlines targets to recruit about 300 cabin crew this year to cater for its network and fleet expansion needs.
 
Hong Kong Airlines holds cabin crew recruitment activities on a regular basis. Candidates who meet the recruitment requirements and pass the arm-reach test (208cm.) will be invited for a group interview followed with a written assessment and the final interview. Successful applicants will undergo an 8-week all-round training programme, which includes training in faculties of safety and emergency, cabin services, hospitality, team building, Wing Chun skills and passenger handling skills.


 

Mr. Stanley Kan, Service Delivery Director of Hong Kong Airlines said, “Our fleet will further expand with delivery of four new aircraft by this year. The Company is planning to launch 2-3 Asia routes by year-end and our very first passenger flight service to Australia in January 2016, resulting in an increasing demand in crew members, and we hope to recruit about 300 cabin crew by the end of 2015.
