Hilton Worldwide celebrates official opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta-Diponegoro

Leading global hospitality company also announced signing of international partnership with Garuda Indonesia.

JAKARTA, Indonesia – Hilton Worldwide recently hosted a party in celebration of the official opening of its first DoubleTree by Hilton branded hotel in Indonesia’s vibrant capital city Jakarta on June 18, 2014. 
 
We are delighted to mark the official opening of our first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Indonesia here in the metropolitan city of Jakarta,” said William Costley, vice president, Operations, Southeast Asia, Hilton Worldwide. “DoubleTree by Hilton is currently our fastest growing full service brand, with a portfolio of over 370 upscale hotels in gateway cities, metropolitan areas and destinations across six continents, which is a perfect fit for this equally fast-paced and vibrant city.” 
 
Over 350 distinguished guests including the creme de la creme of society in Jakarta joined dignitaries from the Italian, Australian, Austrian and Belgium embassies and members of the press in gracing opening party of the strikingly contemporary hotel, conveniently located in the heart of Jakarta, a short stroll from the grand, leafy boulevards of Diponegoro. 
 
Earlier that day, Hilton Worldwide also announced its global partnership with national carrier, Garuda Indonesia. The new partnership will benefit members of both GarudaMiles and Hilton HHonors to earn HHonors Points and GarudaMiles miles when they stay at any of the more than 4,100 hotels within the Hilton Worldwide Portfolio. 
 
The party line-up included a gourmet showcase by the DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta – Diponegoro culinary team led by executive chef Talha Barkin, innovative cocktails by American celebrity mixologist Joseph Boroski

The new, upscale DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta – Diponegoro is a 253-room hotel with three dining outlets, a spacious outdoor pool and generous meeting facilities, ideally suited to business and leisure travelers to Jakarta.

Guests staying at the first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Indonesia can earn 1,000 bonus points per night for a minimum stay of three nights from now until August 31, 2014, inclusive.
