It’s “all systems go” for PTM 2009. The region’s leading travel mart takes place this year in the historic city of Hangzhou, China (PRC) from September 22-25. PATA’s Events team, led by Director Sheila Leong, has returned from Hangzhou with an upbeat message for buyers and sellers looking to make their mark at PTM. “We’re receiving excellent support from the Hangzhou Tourism Commission. There’s no doubt that city officials are very excited that PTM is taking place this year in their city. The World Trade Center Zhejiang is a fantastic venue which will serve us all well,” says Sheila (pictured with Hangzhou Tourism Commission Director Li Hong).
PATA’s plans for PTM09 include three strategy workshops covering the expanding India outbound travel markets in India and China as well as a special session focusing upon branding and marketing issues of relevance to China – with specific insights provided by experts on marketing challenges and opportunities.
