GuestLogix to present at Inflight Services Summit in Singapore

GuestLogix, Inc. announces that John Devins, Director for GuestLogix Asia Pacific will be presenting at the Inflight Services Summit held at Novotel Clarke Quay in Singapore on December 1-2, 2010. The event will be attended by key decision makers and influencers from the airline and inflight services industries.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has predicted that in 2011, passenger traffic demand will grow 4.5% from a year ago while capacity is expected to jump by 6%. However, Guestlogix believes that operating results could easily be sideswiped by higher fuel prices, weather, natural catastrophes, fluctuating currency rates, and other developments beyond an operator’s control. Airlines will continue their push to grow ancillary revenues and the cabin will emerge as a focus for sustainable and profitable revenue generation next year.

With this in mind, Mr. Devins will provide insights into how airlines can successfully create, manage and control branded onboard stores to maximize the potential of in-flight services. He will share examples of relevant destination-based products and services that airlines can offer to enhance the travel experience for their passengers and build a loyal customer base. The presentation will also touch on the topic of how aircrafts can fight fraud by equipping themselves with fraud-proof payment solutions that accept multiple modes of payment.

The session will be held on December 1, 2010 at 3.00-3.45pm at Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay.
