The four-day fair will bring together major tourism operators from home and abroad — all offering super discounts and promotions to gain more business before the Lunar New Year.
The 2016 Taichung Tourism Travel Fair will kick off on January 1st at the World Trade Center Taichung, Taiwan. The four-day fair will bring together major tourism operators from home and abroad — all offering super discounts and promotions to gain more business before the Lunar New Year. Show categories will range from travel agencies, hotels, and home stays to bed-and-breakfasts, hot spring resorts, and restaurants. Prices are predicted to go as low as 60% off and can cover food, accommodations, and recreation.
To celebrate the first day of 2016, which is the opening day, the organizer plans to launch a “Triple Goodies” campaign: 1. No entrance fees for visitors entering the showground before noon while holding the national flag; 2. Free lucky bags for the first 500 visitors; 3. Lucky bag winners may be randomly chosen to participate in an opening-day competition for a chance to win a trip to Korea for one dollar. Moreover, there will be an Asian region one-dollar airline ticket contest every day, plus lucky draws for visitors spending NT$5,000 or more.
