First brand-new B777-300ER introduced into Air China’s Fleet

On July 21, the first brand-new B777-300ER of Air China, which is also the first one in mainland China, arrived in Beijing. The new aircraft fully embodies the customized design Air China followed to provide excellent travel experience for its passengers. With the introduction of this new type of aircraft, Air China further enhances its strength in the international market.

Air China is China’s only national flag carrier and a Star Alliance member. In addition to commercial operations, it also provides special flight services for the country’s state leaders on official visit to other countries.

By a fleet of 290 Airbus and Boeing aircraft (including 280 passenger airliners and 10 freighters), 1 training plane and 6 business jets, we run 276 routes – 69 international, 14 regional, and 193 domestic – serving a total of 137 cities, including 43 international, 4 regional and 90 domestic, in 30 countries and regions. We offer over 6,900 flights with over 1,100,000 seats every week. Thanks to our admission to the Star Alliance, our route network, with Beijing as its hub, is able to place 1,160 destinations in 181 countries within our reach.
