Located five minutes from the Palm Cove region on the Captain Cook Highway which links Cairns to Port Douglas, the holiday park overlooks the Coral Sea.

CAIRNS – Far North Hotels has acquired Ellis Beachfront Holiday Park with a DA-approved development site in North Queensland. CBRE’s Scott Callow and Danny Betros brokered the sale on behalf of interstate vendors.

“The popularity of tourism to regional centres on the coast has never been stronger. Which is even more apparent with the volume of travellers looking to undertake longer breaks based on caravans and camping,” Mr Callow said.

Located five minutes from the Palm Cove region on the Captain Cook Highway which links Cairns to Port Douglas, the holiday park overlooks the Coral Sea.

Ellis Beach Oceanfront Bungalows Holiday Park has 28 bungalows and cabins, 46 powered caravan sites, 25 camping sites, a beach bar and grill, and guest facilities including a pool and kiosk. The development site is approved for 221 motel, resort, and hotel rooms situated behind the holiday
park.

Mr Callow added, “The approval to undertake further development of the site will provide Far North Hotels with the flexibility to add a mix of alternative accommodations to the property.”

“The multi-faceted business has experienced strong trading conditions and presents an opportunity to make the most of a 20-year State Government lease over the land, securing future operation,” Mr Betros said.
