NEW DELHI – Dusit Devarana New Delhi, Dusit International’s first hotel to open in India, announces it has been awarded an NDTV Design & Architecture Award in the category of ‘Landscape Design of the Year 2014’.
NDTV, or New Delhi Television, has been a pioneer in India’s news television for a quarter century. Since then, it has expanded its brand portfolio to seize opportunities ‘beyond the news space.’ NDTV hosted its first ever Design & Architecture Awards, in partnership with GROHE and powered by Autodesk, on March 21st 2014.
The awards focus on the complexities of building projects from design, aesthetic, sustainability and conservation perspectives, as well as the local context. After an in-depth evaluation of each entry, the esteemed jury announced the winners and Mr. KVL Narayan Rao, Executive Vice-Chairperson of NDTV and the President of News Broadcasters Association presented the NDTV Design & Architecture Award for ‘Landscape Design of The Year 2014’ to Dusit Devarana New Delhi.
