Dream Cruises’ inaugural ship promises a good night’s sleep

Featured in all staterooms onboard, Dream Beds are the product of leading bedding brands from around the world brought together to deliver a sumptuous sleeping experience.

HONG KONG – Dream Cruises, the first-ever Asian luxury cruise line, announced that guests onboard its inaugural ship Genting Dream can look forward to its luxurious ‘Dream Beds’ concept.

Featured in all staterooms onboard, Dream Beds are the product of leading bedding brands from around the world brought together to deliver a sumptuous sleeping experience, thanks to the unique combination of high quality mattresses, silky-smooth sheets, bouncy duvets and a mountain of pillows. Dream Beds ‘wrap’ each guest in comfort and luxury, ensuring they are fully refreshed for the day ahead.

Dream Cruises President Mr. Thatcher Brown said: “We are in the business of ‘dreams’ – bringing dreams to life and inspiring our guests to dream, so providing our guests with exceptionally comfortable bedding only makes sense. A good night’s sleep is all part of a great vacation. We’ve consulted with interior designers and health professionals to come up with our Dream Beds concept, offering the ultimate in comfort and luxury.”

All mattresses are from Custom Comfort, a leading brand that prides itself on using the finest natural materials and quality construction in their hand-tufted, eco-friendly mattresses. A Custom Comfort mattress promises that guests onboard will enjoy a healthier, higher quality of sleep.

When it comes to bed linen, Frette’s reputation is unsurpassed. The Italian brand is the leading provider of the finest linens to luxury homes and hotels worldwide.

Pillows are a very personal thing, and as guests’ slip into bed, they will want their pillow to be exactly right. This is why guests onboard can peruse a pillow and duvet menu, all of which come from Germany. With a choice of 100% cotton, satin, down or feathers, guests can be sure to find the ideal pillow to rest their heads on.

Guests of Dream Palace will enjoy a meticulous turndown service where the room is cleaned and refreshed, and the bed linen turned down ready for guests to slip between the sheets. Other thoughtful ways of inducing rest include offering complimentary relaxing herbal tea selection in all staterooms, and the availability of relaxing music through in-room entertainment to help guests unwind.
