DFS Group launches its fourth Whisky Festival

From 1 May to 30 June, travellers can enjoy whisky tastings and gain insights from DFS qualified whisky ambassadors while awaiting their flight at the pop-up bar at Changi Airport Terminal 3.

Singapore – DFS Group is staging its fourth Whisky Festival with the first-ever pop-up bar at Changi Airport Terminal 3, where travellers can enjoy complimentary whisky tastings and gain insights from DFS qualified whisky ambassadors while awaiting their flight.

Brooke Supernaw, Senior Vice President Spirits, Wines, Tobacco, Food and Gifts, said: “The Whisky Festival is one of our favourite celebrations at DFS, providing a great opportunity to showcase this wonderful spirit in a fun and engaging way to whisky connoisseurs and enthusiasts alike”

Featuring design elements from deconstructed whisky casks, the bar’s interior exudes an unconventional and sumptuous atmosphere reminiscent of the Speakeasy bars of the 1920s Jazz Era. Apart from whisky tastings, travellers can also enjoy live jazz performances.

The Whisky Festival aims to demystify the whisky making process with inspiration of cask maturation and its impact on color, aroma and taste. This year festival will also offer promotions from 1 May to 30 June at The Tasting Bar at DFS Singapore Changi Airport’s Terminal 2 Duplex, The Raffles Long Bar Terminal 3 Duplex and The Whiskey House at Terminal 4 Departure Central.

After the launch at Singapore, DFS will also stage the whisky festival at its locations across Asia, the Middle East, North America and Hawaii.
