Delegation from Thailand’s Sripatum University takes a leaf out of Star Cruises’ success

Led by Dean Dr Monticha Khruasuwan, the delegation from Sripatum University found the ship tour arranged by Star Cruises immensely constructive, giving them the opportunity to gain insights into the cruise industry and hospitality as the university will roll out new academic programmes on Cruise Services and Management for the next academic year.

HONG KONG – Star Cruises, the leading cruise line in Asia-Pacific, highly values the nourishment of hospitality professionals. Such dedication is made clear as it welcomed representatives from Thailand’s Sripatum University onboard Star Pisces on an educational visit.

Faculty members from the university’s School of Liberal Arts toured around the 40,053-tonnage Star Pisces, home ported in Hong Kong. They stopped by at the newly revamped entertainment facilities, shops, cabins and so on.

In the welcoming ceremony following the VIP tour, senior representatives from the ship including Hotel Manager Mr. Ernel Boyet Facula, Executive Housekeeper Mr. Ver Magpayo and Food & Beverage Manager Mr. Mario Pascual had a friendly exchange with the delegates to share their best practices and daily ship operation know-how.
