Czech Airlines and Aviareps extend their successful collaboration to Turkey

Czech Airlines is continuing its successful partnership with Aviareps and has chosen the global aviation and tourism management expert as its General Sales Agent (GSA) for Turkey. This new collaboration confirms the consistent trust of Czech Airlines in the extensive experience and market expertise of Aviareps, who is already acting as GSA in South America as well as in Austria and Hungary. With immediate effect, Aviareps’ subsidiary based in Istanbul will handle sales and marketing activities in Turkey on behalf of Czech Airlines as General Sales Agent. With this step Aviareps aims at creating brand awareness in Turkey and promoting Czech Airlines’ attractive services among its new target group.

Founded in 1923, Czech Airlines (formerly Czechoslovak State Airlines) is recognized as one of the oldest airlines in the world. Today, the company provides connections from Prague, and also “via” Prague, to important destinations in Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. In cooperation with its partners, the prestigious carrier presently offers connections to 87 destinations in 46 countries around the world. Since 2001, Czech Airlines has been a member of the global airline alliance SkyTeam with Aeroflot, Aeromexico, Air Europa, Air France, Alitalia, China Eastern, China Southern, Delta Airlines, Kenya Airways, KLM, Korean Air, Tarom and Vietnam Airlines.

Czech Airlines’ fleet comprises state-of-the-art aircraft from three manufacturers – Airbus, Boeing and ATR. Medium and long-haul flights are operated with A319-100s, A320-200s and A321-200s. While B737-500 aircraft are used only for medium-haul flights, ATR72-202 and ATR42-320/500 serve short-haul connections.
