Crown Perth wins prestigious AHA Awards

Over 1,100 guests gathered in the Grand Ballroom at Crown Perth for the presentation of the 2014 AHA-Aon Hotel and Hospitality Awards for Excellence.
 

Crown Perth was once again proud to be the host venue for these awards, recognising accommodation hotels, pubs, bars, dining and tourism facilities as well as employees that demonstrate excellence within the Western Australian hospitality industry.
 

Crown Perth’s premier Chinese restaurant, Silks, was honoured to receive WA’s Best Premium Restaurant award. Launched in August 2013, Silks offers diners an exquisite selection of authentic Cantonese and multi-regional dishes, setting the benchmark for Chinese cuisine in Perth.
 

Perth’s home of American-inspired ‘dude food’, The Merrywell, took out WA’s Best Casual Pub Dining honour, whilst Neil Perry’s Rockpool Bar & Grill Perth was awarded WA’s Best Bar Presentation and Service.
 

Crown Perth was also honoured to be a finalist in the following categories:

– Best Late Night Venue – The Merrywell

– Best Training Initiative – Crown Perth

– Best Environmental & Energy Efficiency Practice – Crown Perth

– Best Cookery Services Employee – Eric Fernandez

– Best Sommelier – Francois Reijasse

– Best AHA-HGT Rising Star – Kevin Senjaya

– Best Premium Restaurant – Rockpool Bar & Grill

– Best Wine List – Rockpool Bar & Grill
