STR Global, the leading provider of market data to the world’s hotel industry, and Choice Hotels International, Inc. have signed a global agreement providing benchmarking services to its hotels. Initially, STR Global will work together to roll out the STAR program to hotels in the United Kingdom, Australasia, Mexico, Central & South America, Germany and France in 2011.
Choice Hotels International has more than 485,000 rooms globally with the brands such as Clarion, Quality, Comfort and Sleep Inn, ranging from limited-service to full-service hotels in the Economy, Midscale and Upscale segments.
