China Southern unveils expanded Beijing-Tehran service

China Southern Airlines announced all-new, non-stop direct flights from Beijing to Tehran and double the frequency to four flights per week, starting March 31. China Southern has been operating Beijing-Tehran flights on Wednesday and Saturday, (with a stop at Urumqi) which take 10 hours.

The new flights will only take eight hours and will also operate every Monday and Friday.

China’s largest airline will use an Airbus A330-200 aircraft for this service.
