Activities for all and the best live views of the National Day Parade and dazzling fireworks will be seen at Singapore Flyer, the world’s largest giant observation wheel.
SINGAPORE- On August 9th, Singapore will celebrate its 47th birthday with fireworks, festivities and its National Day Parade. An opportunity to seize the festivities from the air at Singapore Flyer! On weekends leading to the parade, Singapore Flyer will present a range of events: there will be choir performances by local school students and Yeo’s NDP 2012 Recycling Art Display for Charity.
Every weekend in July and August, the first forty-seven people who say, “I love Singapore” at the Singapore Flyer ticketing counters will be rewarded with a free Singapore Sling flight upgrade! (in conjunction with the purchase of a full priced adult flight ticket). On 9 August, activities such as Hip Hop dance performances by Hopstacles and the Tug-of- War “Power of 8” clinic will perform all day long!
For those who fancy aerial views of the parade, it will be possible to take a flight on the world’s largest Giant Observation Wheel for a viewing experience like no other. The luckiest ones might observe fireworks display coming to life from the comfort of a spacious and air-conditioned Singapore Flyer capsule. Special 4-course fine dining menu will on offer.
