Canadian tour operator Adventures Abroad runs group tours to North Korea

North Korea is the second atypical destination to be added to Adventures Abroad's 2012 schedule.

Adventures Abroad Worldwide Travel has unveiled a new series of small-group cultural tours to North Korea, a landmark ‘first’ for the company, which was established in 1987.

North Korea is the second atypical destination to be added to Adventures Abroad’s 2012 schedule; Iraqi Kurdistan tours have been offered since January and two tours have since concluded to rave reviews.

“How can we visit ‘off-the-beaten-track’ destinations other operators can’t? Because to us, it’s familiar territory; Adventures Abroad has 25 years experience running tours to far-flung lands,” said Product Manager Rick Unrau. “We are meticulous in our research and uncompromising with client safety. We know what we’re doing.”

Recently recognized by National Geographic as one of the best travel companies in the world, Adventures Abroad offers 350+ cultural tours across 120 countries, including walking tours, active adventures, family tours, custom group tours, budget tours, student tours and customizable private tours.
