Business Events Sarawak Association Centre welcomes more Regional Offices

Business Events Sarawak Association Centre (BESAC) signed an MoU with the Federation of Chinese Physicians & Acupuncturists of Malaysia (FCPAAM)

Kuching — Business Events Sarawak Association Centre (BESAC) initiated by Sarawak Convention Bureau (SCB) has excelled in thrusting the business events sector with an MoU signing ceremony on 28 January 2019 with the Federation of Chinese Physicians & Acupuncturists of Malaysia (FCPAAM).

FCPAAM will be setting up the first regional office as part of a united effort to reach out to spinal health practitioners in the Asia Pacific region and grow the Malaysian sector, starting with an influence in Sarawak.

The partnership between the Bureau and the Association is an assuring step in the uprising of the hub as Amelia Roziman, Chief Operating Officer of SCB declares, “This is the leap that will propel the business events industry. Sarawak has a steadfast record of hosting world-class business events and the bid wins made by the SCB emphasize as to why Sarawak is a great place to welcome regional offices such as this.”

“Furthermore, the support from the State Government and local communities empowers the industry so this will inspire and encourage more associations to do the same.” She concluded.

The partnership is just as significant according to Professor Dr. Ng Po Kok, President of Malaysia Spinal Health Association who stated, “The alliance between the Association and SCB position us well to carry out our mission given that Sarawak is becoming a notable second tier destination with undeniable potential in the business events sector.”

To continue the statement, Professor Dr. Ng Po Kok added, “We want to be where the real impact beyond tourism is such as knowledge expansion, networking, relationship & collaboration, education outcomes, fundraising & future research capacity plus raising awareness and profiling.”

BESAC is a one stop shop for global associations to expand in the region located at Sarawak Convention Bureau on Level 3, Plaza Aurora (formerly Kuching Plaza).
