Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services Co., Ltd (“Boeing Shanghai”) has reached an agreement with Business Air, based in Bangkok, Thailand, for 767-300 maintenance checks. Lomitusi Sean Te’o, acting COO & Quality director, Business Air, joined with John Albrecht, CFO, Boeing Shanghai, to sign the agreement. Business Air, founded in 2008, operates international charter flights in Asia Pacific region.
“Boeing Shanghai is showing momentum in the MRO marketplace, with this agreement with Business Air,” said Albrecht. “Our focus on quality and efficiency is an important factor in meeting airline maintenance expectations.”
Business Air is the latest in a growing number of international customers for Boeing Shanghai. Two weeks ago, Boeing signed an agreement for 737-800 “C” checks with Jeju Air, based in Seoul, Korea
Boeing Shanghai was established in June 2006 as a joint venture of Boeing, Shanghai Airport Authorities and Shanghai Airlines. The mission of Boeing Shanghai is to provide high-quality modification, maintenance, repair and overhaul services to regional and international airlines as well as to domestic Chinese airlines.
