Best Western unveils refreshing new website

Geo-location based information and TripAdvisor reviews included in the new website of Best Western International.

BANGKOK- Best Western International has unveiled a refreshing new look and feel for its website.

The revamped site, www.bestwestern.com, features comprehensive information about Best Western’s global collection of more than 4,100 hotels and resorts, plus exciting packages and special offers, the latest Best Western Rewards promotions and a range of exciting new additions.

The website has been redesigned with a fresh, contemporary new look, offering more in-depth information about the hotels and local area, a larger collection of hotel images and more detailed room descriptions.

In addition to the enhanced look, the new website is also more user-friendly. Customers are now able to search for hotels by their proximity to the nearest airport, major local attraction or a specific address, as well as simply by city and country. To enhance the customer experience further, the number of hotel icons has been reduced to just three, highlighting which hotels are award-winning, eco-friendly and non-smoking.

In a bid to offer complete transparency to Best Western’s customers, the new website also includes independent TripAdvisor reviews and ratings for each hotel.

“We are delighted to be able to unveil our new-look bestwestern.com website,” said Glenn de Souza, Best Western International’s Vice President International Operations – Asia & the Middle East. “In the world today, it is essential that we offer a fast, efficient and convenient online platform through which to interact with our guests. This new website, with its enhanced information and intuitive functionality, will ensure we are able to maximize our guest satisfaction and direct bookings.”

Once a guest finds and selects a hotel, the booking process has also been streamlined. In addition to the choice of destination and arrival/departure dates, the new website asks for the number of guests and the number of rooms. This eliminates a full step from the previous reservation process, reducing overall booking times.

There are also new easy-to-navigate sections dedicated to the latest packages, promotions and local hotel deals, as well as a revamped section for members of the popular Best Western Rewards loyalty program.
