BANGKOK – Best Western International will place its Asian expansion in the spotlight next month, when it showcases its latest developments at ITB Berlin – the world’s biggest travel trade show.
Led by Glenn de Souza, the company’s Vice President of International Operations for Asia & the Middle East, Best Western will update visitors to ITB Berlin on its recent developments in the region, including the launch of its first ever hotels in Myanmar.
“ITB Berlin is the world’s biggest travel trade show, so for Best Western – one of the world’s biggest hotel companies – it is a must-attend event,” said Mr. de Souza.
“Since last year’s ITB Berlin we have made great strides in Asia and the Middle East, signing many new hotels, entering new markets, and opening some outstanding new properties.
“I am delighted to be able to return to Berlin this year to showcase these developments, and offer an insight into Best Western’s exciting plans for the future. Asia and the Middle East are our fastest-growing regions, so I can promise plenty of exciting updates,” Mr. de Souza concluded.
Best Western currently operates more than 200 hotels and resorts across 24 countries in Asia and the Middle East. But such is the company’s rapid regional growth, it expects to expand to at least 300 hotels in the coming years.
Once again, Best Western will have a significant presence at ITB Berlin. The company will be located at Booth 201, in the center of Main Exhibitor Hall 26B.
From this eye-catching platform, Best Western will be able to interact with the estimated 170,000 visitors that ITB Berlin attracts each year. And with more than 110,000 travel industry visitors, Best Western is delighted to reiterate its strong and lasting commitment to the trade.
