Banyan Tree to open Cassia Phuket in October, its first custom hotel residence

A stylish combination of hotel and serviced apartments for couples, families or groups of friends, the first Cassia property will open in October 2015 in Phuket, Thailand.

SINGAPORE – A completely new hospitality concept, Banyan Tree‘s newest brand Cassia features cutting edge design, colourful “street art” decor and customisable living and dining options. A stylish combination of hotel and serviced apartments for couples, families or groups of friends, the first Cassia property will open in October 2015 in Phuket, Thailand.
 
Located within the Group’s integrated resort Laguna Phuket, Cassia brings an innovative approach to hospitality with 221 stylish residences featuring casual chic one- and two-bedroom apartments, each with a separate living room and fully equipped kitchen. Many residences have a Loft hang out area with panoramic views of the lagoon, ocean or park.
 
Cassia Phuket boasts original features and facilities such as FREE Wi-fi, two pools, a private area at Bang Tao Beach, Spa, mini convenience mart, home delivery service and touch-screen concierge.


 

Cassia allows guests to keep dining easy breezy with casual concepts Market 23 Cafe the hotel’s buzzing social hub, and Street Bar featuring in-house DJs and original works of Thai street artists.
 
Guests who prefer to dine in, can cook home-made meals with fresh ingredients from Market 23 Cafe, order delivery from local restaurants or take away from street vendors.
 
Options such as transfers, Spa sessions, room add-ons, housekeeping, laundry and more can be selected in advance through the website during booking or on-site.
