AXIS boosts customer service in the Asia Pacific

Southern Pacific Flight Training, based in Brisbane, Australia, will receive AXIS’ ATR 72-600 full flight simulator (FFS) by January 2019.

Zurich, Switzerland – AXIS Flight Training Systems, the independent flight simulator manufacturer, has enhanced its offering in the Asia-Pacific region with the signing of Southern Pacific Flight Training as a new customer.

Southern Pacific Flight Training, based in Brisbane, Australia, will receive AXIS’ ATR 72-600 full flight simulator (FFS) by January 2019.

Jean-Luc Laydevant, from AXIS Switzerland, says: “This transaction with Southern Pacific Flight Training is a result of AXIS’ strong drive and momentum towards international expansion, with a focus on the Asia Pacific region in particular. AXIS is positioned as a premium quality simulator manufacturer at market price, delivering superior value and service to our customers.”

AXIS’ simulator will be certified to CASA and EASA Level D FFS standards, the highest standards of FFS qualification currently available. It will also feature ATR New Avionic Suite standards 2.1 and 3 (convertible).
