Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) and Bookeasy join forces

Through the implementation of Bookeasy, a tourism organisation has the opportunity to grow an online booking presence and distribute their region's products globally.

The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) and Bookeasy have recently entered into an exciting new partnership which allows listed ATDW tourism products to seamlessly synchronise with Bookeasy data.

Both ATDW and Bookeasy recognise the importance of streamlining content across multiple channels to ensure a consistent user experience and avoid any replicating of information. As a result Bookeasy can now absorb all applicable content from an ATDW listing such as Product Name, Description, Contact Information & Location, Facilities and Images. These Tourism Products are then proactively booked nationwide by Visitor Information Centre staff and through regional tourism websites,” said Mark Williams, CEO of ATDW.

Bookeasy, one of Australia’s leading technology platforms for the tourism industry, is currently being used by over 170 Visitor Information Centre (VICs) and 45,000 operators across Australia. Through the implementation of Bookeasy, a tourism organisation has the opportunity to grow an online booking presence and distribute their region’s products globally.

Not only can Bookeasy manage real time online bookings and client databases for VICs, it can also provide statistics, collate marketing intelligence, produce reports and issue itineraries.

Tourism organisations using Bookeasy report a dramatic improvement in key performance indicators such as bookings growth, operational & cost efficiency. Partnering with Bookeasy is seamless requiring no additional software. We simply engage with the local Tourism Destination and the Tourism Operator to further galvanise the region.” added Tony Shine from Bookeasy.

We cannot highlight enough how important it is to update your ATDW listing and to invest in high quality images and content. It’s certainly worth its weight in gold,” concluded Williams.
