Amatara Resort & Wellness named Luxury Emerging Spa in 2016 World Luxury Spa Awards

PHUKET, Thailand – Amatara Resort & Wellness, a Thailand’s luxury wellness destination, has been awarded Luxury Emerging Spa – Thailand in the 2016 World Luxury Spa Awards. The World Luxury Spa Awards was established in 2011 to recognize leaders in the worldwide luxury spa industry, setting benchmarks in quality, innovation and service for spas around the globe. Amatara was selected for its introduction of the world’s first Thai Hamman spa, as well as a holistic approach to “Eternal Happiness” through the integration of wellness treatments, healthy and nutritious cuisine and custom-designed detox and fitness activity programs.

 

World Luxury Spa Awards Winners are selected by public voting, providing unbiased recognition of the hard work and dedication exhibited by the staff of all nominee hotels. The 2016 World Luxury Spa Awards Gala Ceremony was hosted at the Grand Hotel Kronenhof Pontresina in Switzerland on the 18th June, with senior representatives of leading hotels from across the world in attendance.
