Amadeus strengthens its partnership with STA Travel with a long-term global agreement

Amadeus and STA Travel announced a long-term extension to their content agreement. The geographic scope of the deal includes the U.K., Germany, NewZealand, Australia, the U.S., Austria, Switzerland, South Africa, Sweden, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand among others.

Under this new agreement, over 29 STA Travel markets will use the Amadeus distribution system to access travel content throughout Amadeus/ global partner network. Today, STA Travel already enjoys the benefits of Amadeus’ technology solutions including but not limited to the Amadeus e-Travel Management online booking tool for business travelers. With the needs of this specific customer in mind, Amadeus had also developed a custom built e-ticketing solution for STA Travel.
