Airports mark strong traffic growth in July across all regions

Airports worldwide report excellent results for July passenger traffic which rose by a strong 6.4 percent as compared to July of 2006 according to new figures released by the Airports Council International. International traffic worldwide increased an even higher 7.3 percent, with accelerated growth across all regions, spearheaded by the Middle East (+21.6 percent), Africa (+15.5 percent) and Latin America (+8.8 percent).

Domestic results were buoyed by solid growth in the Asia Pacific, European and North American regions. See full regional results in Table 2.
