Air Pacific adopts Amadeus Altea Customer Management Solution

Amadeus and Air Pacific, the national carrier of Fiji, recently celebrated the airline’s selection and successful implementation of the Amadeus Altea Customer Management Solution.

The Altea Suite provides Air Pacific with the latest industry leading technology and will enable the airline to offer streamlined reservations, inventory and departure control processes, helping to improve business efficiency and performance. The system is used at all of the airline’s reservations / ticketing and sales agent offices and at airport locations across the airline’s network.

The Altea Suite also enables Air Pacific to integrate effectively with Qantas Airways, its part owner and a major interline partner.

Dave Pflieger, CEO, Air Pacific said, “The Altea Suite is fully customisable to meet our specific needs. This is critical as Air Pacific operates in a number of diverse market segments, including long haul routes to North America and Asia, and short haul services to Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Amadeus and benefitting from their ongoing expertise and support.”

John Chapman, Vice President, Airline Group, Amadeus Asia Pacific said Amadeus is delighted that Air Pacific has selected the Altea Suite. “Air Pacific’s selection of Altea shows that the system offers the scalability and flexibility to meet the business needs of a wide range of carriers, including not only larger carriers such as Qantas, but also small to mid-size airlines, like Air Pacific. In today’s competitive environment, it’s important for airlines to have the most advanced tools and information available to support their business. We look forward to contributing to Air Pacific’s success.”
