A strategic distribution agreement has been signed between Agoda and WorldHotels for the Asia Pacific region. WorldHotels has a portfolio of more than 80 hotels and resorts throughout Asia. With this agreement, Agoda will add to its network of more than 27,000 hotels.

“We are delighted to partner with Agoda Company. Their reputation and reach are quite impressive in promoting hotel properties within this region,” says Roland Jegge, WorldHotels’ Vice President, Asia Pacific. “We believe Agoda will foster consumer decisions based on value rather than on price alone and help promote the strengths of our members’ properties.”

Wilfred Fan, Agoda Company’s Vice President, Business Development believes continually adding top properties to its network is of paramount importance to reach more consumers.

“WorldHotels is an ideal partner since all the properties in their portfolio share a commitment to the highest quality and world-class service standards,” Fan says. “This means we can offer consumers selection, but, more importantly, peace of mind when they are booking through Agoda.com.”

The agreement will benefit existing Agoda partners such as the Harbour Plaza Metropolis Hotel in Hong Kong, Evergreen Laurel Hotel in Bangkok, and Goodwood Park Hotel in Singapore, that are also members of WorldHotels. The integration will increase availability of rooms to Agoda customers and streamline the communication between the hotels and Agoda.

“Agoda.com is committed to offering the best available rates at the best properties for business and leisure travelers,” Fan says. “This agreement helps us meet that goal.”
